After the engine is dropped, the heads are removed and machined, the block is cleaned, painted and prepared for rebuild.

This particular motor is that of a 911SC, a 1983 model 3.0L that came to us with a broken head stud.

Plinio, our mechanic, aligns the heads with his special tools and finally slides them into place after machining is completed.

The heads all in place, painted in Black and accented with Blue shields, are sitting on their brand new studs.

Showing the underside of the motor at 90 degrees. Head cases sealed in place and new oil return tubes locked in position...

Right side up again, New Carrera Tensioners retrofitted and t-chain in place. Chain covers are then sealed + bolted into position... it's starting to look like an engine finally!!

Now we're really getting there. Carrera tensioners in place, powder coated fan, oil cooler, 90% back to normality and it looks awesome !!

The finishing touch, engine back in the car, couple of tweeks to the valves and this baby is ready to go! This car is soon for sale, smogged and with our 6 month warranty.
